Step-by-step plan
- First remove all dust and grease from the substrate. A slightly damp substrate will improve adhesion.
- Thoroughly remove all green deposits and algae with a putty knife or pressure washer (min. 150 bar) until no more fibres come loose. This will eliminate the need for an adhesive coating.
- Apply Garden Clean Green Remover to destroy any remaining spores. Leave to soak in for 24 hours.
- Rinse to remove any remaining residue.
- Stir the product well.
- Apply a first coat of Roof Paint diluted with 10–15% water with a brush or roller at a rate of approx. 0.12–0.17 l/m² per coat. Allow to dry for 4 hours.
- Then apply a second, undiluted coat. Avoid putting it on too thickly. Make sure the cut lines are not blocked to ensure perfect water drainage. A second, undiluted coat is only necessary on severely degraded substrates.
