Aqua Lead
Classic construction lead
Classic sheet lead with a thickness of 1.25 mm is suitable for various applications within any building structure. Construction lead is highly resistant to atmospheric influences (such as acid rain) and is easy to work with. Aqua Lead is manufactured in accordance with CEN standards and meets all technical specifications for construction lead.

Step-by-step plan
- Make sure the substrate is dry, and remove all dust and grease. Wash away all dirt and loose particles with clean tap water.
- Roll out the AQUA LEAD, cut and/or trim to size. Do not use lead strips longer than 1.5 metres.
- For a watertight finish around upstanding masonry, it is necessary to cut into the AQUA LEAD and secure it with a lead plug/lead clamp.
- For longer lengths, make cross joints with a flange/scarf joint or an end lap of 10 cm wide (see ) when it is bricked in.
- AQUA LEAD can be easily cut or trimmed to size. Use tin shears or a box cutter along a steel ruler.
- Do not touch your face when working with lead. Do not eat, drink or smoke when working with lead. Use paper tissues to blow your nose and wash your hands thoroughly after working with lead.
